Sad News Brings Opportunity

We have been looking forward to this day, counting down the weeks at first then the days. Dan had an appointment to see his surgeon and was fully anticipating a "go" for putting his foot back into service. The good news is that his foot is healing and looks good but the sad news is that it is not ready for full weight bearing and he has to be on crutches for another month, ugh! He has been making plans to do some projects and they have again been placed on the back burner. In the whole scope of life this is nothing to get bothered over but on a day to day basis it is a little disappointing. Our wise and good God tells us to rejoice and give thanks in all things so here is an opportunity to trust the Lord and know that He will work all things out for good.
